Since we opened our own shop, The Chocolate House, in Dunster
in August 2009, we have unfortunately not been able to manage to
continue with the regular markets we have been attending. We do
hope to make occasional appearances when time and stock permit -
details will appear on this page when that is the case.
We will also try to attend some shows and fairs. Again, details
will appear here. |
Our calendar, below, will enable you to see where
we will be in the coming few months. We enjoy our outings and particularly
meeting our customers face to face - feedback is always welcome!

Craft Fair
We are joining a selction of producers in marquees in the High
Street, next to the Market house in the centre of Taunton.
Open (we think) from 10am to 5pm, later on Thursday which is late
night shopping in Taunton |

FARMERS' MARKETS WE ATTENDED
Taunton Farmers' Market
 This
an extensive weekly market, held on Thursdays in the High Street, a pedestrianised
area very convenient for the town centre. Just ask for Boots! [map]
The market runs from 09:00 to 15:00.
Although it is weekly, we can only go twice a month and we go (concentrate!)
on the last Thursday of the month and the Thursday two weeks prior to
that. I know that sounds complicated - the best way to find out when we
will be there is to look at the calendar above!

Wellington Farmers' Market
| This market takes place once a month, on the third
Saturday, in the Scout Hall in the centre of town, next door to Somerfield
Supermarket (I think - must check!). There is an entrance through
an arch from Fore Street and a car park to the rear accessed via South
Street and then Bulford Lane. [map]
The market runs from 09:00 until 13:00. |
