Our aim at Nutcombe Chocolates is to deliver complete chocolate happiness. As a result, we aim to deliver the best possible customer experience, and we therefore adhere to and if possible, exceed all current and proposed legislation in addition to trade body guidelines. The conditions detailed below do not affect your statutory rights according to United Kingdom law.
If you have purchased chocolates, or received them as a gift and you are not entirely happy, please contact us with your comments as soon as possible; we need to know how we can improve, and will do all we can to rectify any problems. We will aim to acknowledge all queries within 24 hours.

Delivery Information

Standard delivery area

We currently accept orders through our online shop for delivery within the UK only: that is mainland England, Wales, mainland Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Delivery methods

We normally send our orders by Royal Mail First Class Post. In most cases this is fast and reliable but please be aware that occasionally items can take longer. This is beyond our control and we cannot accept responsibility for delays.

Despatch time

We will normally send your order within two days from receipt of your order and we will confirm despatch by email. In the event of us being unable to send your chocolates within two days (for example if we have to make some items to complete your order) we will advise you by email of the planned despatch date and again confirm despatch by separate email.

Postage and Packing Charges

Order value up to £10.00, charge £2.50
Order value between £10.01 and £25.00, charge £4.50
Order value £25.01 and above, charge £7.50

Delivery to other countries

We can send our chocolates to other countries, by arrangement. Please contact us by email for further details. We will normally check the delivery/postage charges and agree a total order value before taking payments.

Inclement weather (for chocolates)

During hot spells we would not normally despatch chocolates to sit in a hot warehouse over the weekend so therefore the item will be despatched early Monday morning therefore ensuring the quality of the chocolates upon arrival. If you wish to take responsibility of the condition of the chocolates and have them despatched regardless then please state when ordering.

Payment details

Payment relating to orders made through our web site are handled by PayPal. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to the payment process, the PayPal server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

Other details

Nutcombe Chocolates only receive the non-financial information necessary for us to complete your order.
Your details are confidential and you will never receive unsolicited mail from third parties as a result of ordering from Nutcombe Chocolates. This information is primarily requested to offer a full and efficient customer service but also is used to compile a database for mailing details of any special offers or promotions to our customers. It is our policy not to sell or pass any of this information to any other organisations.

All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Please note that general email correspondence is not encrypted and is, therefore, not considered a secure means of sending credit card details.
